Statement Regarding Russian & Belarusian Athletes

Following recommendations made by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the World Squash Federation (WSF) and Professional Squash Association (PSA) will exclude athletes and officials from Russia and Belarus from taking part in all officially sanctioned squash events until further notice.

The ban on Russian and Belarusian players and officials includes the three WSF World Championships taking place in August and December 2022 (including WSF World Masters 2022 in Hasta la Vista, Poland), as well as all tournaments on the PSA World Tour, PSA Challenger Tour and WSF & PSA Satellite Tour.

As hosts of WSF World Masters 2022 , we also firmly disagree with the situation happening in Ukraine and support the Ukrainian people in the fight for their freedom, therefore we strongly support, and will follow, the above decision.

Please acknowledge that if a player from a country that is currently under sanction try to enter  and would therefore not be eligible to play, the entry will be cancelled and a refund minus the 25% cancellation fee will be issued automatically after the closing deadline.
